A brief overview

    The open source solution Magento store has recently been the subject of many accolades and was initially as a replacement or alternative to xt: Commerce traded. But this is not rather the case. With Magento is rather a new, highly efficient store software on the market, but provides the high demands on the developers and comply with the basic knowledge of PHP is not.

    Magento is rather seen as a rival for example OXID eSales. For small shops is the solution, therefore, in our opinion not appropriate because Magento is very high demands on server performance. Thus, automatically require a larger budget that comes only to larger stores in question.

    T3NET has imposed on the product in the portfolio since December 2008 and is obviously capable of the increased demands on the Magento design, developers and turns on the hosting, too.

   All these features and the flexibility of Magento, however, have its price: a high demand for server performance. A normal hosting package does not currently comes into question. Also adjust the effort, Magento for individual applications and should improve on, will not be ignored.This is significantly higher than that of xt: Commerce.
