Information on xt: Commerce

Development is carried by the xt: Commerce GmbH based on a version of osCommerce from the year 2003. The current version is 3.0.4 - all versions of this line of development is subject to the GPL and are available for a support fee to download.

 

The long-awaited version 4 was released in early October 2008 and now bears the name Veyton. In contrast to the recent trend-line Veyton is a completely new design and no longer under the GPL. Veyton does not allow for adjustments of the source code, as this is secured by the Ver turnkey selungssoftware ionCube. Since the bypassing such safeguards in Germany is prohibited by law, are adjustments to the Shopsoftware Veyton possible only by the XT-Commerce GmbH or its authorized partners.

 

If you give us your shop in order, you have to worry about the different licensing models not worry, because we then obtain the necessary licenses for you and the fees are already included in the calculated price for it.

 

An essential feature of xt: Commerce is created by using the Smarty template engine flexibility in terms of design and implement the option modules. This allows, for example, payment modules from third parties such as PayPal or T-Pay include in the transaction process in order to offer different payment options to customers. xt: Commerce is in German, English, French, Hungarian, Spanish, Polish, Dutch, Italian and Russian.
