Either download TYPO3 CMS

The original TYPO3 packages are available in mainly two different ways:

  • If you already have a webserver with the required components installed, go for the zip/tar.gz packages at typo3.org
  • If you don't have a webserver and want to test TYPO3 on your local PC, download one of the Installers at typo3.org

After downloading and installing the original packages of TYPO3 you end up with an empty website, that you have to configure by yourself. If you want a preconfigured site instead, you can download one of our packages. Templates for TemplaVoila is available in two different ways:

  • Templates for TemplaVoilà (TYPO3 extension and t3d file, based on YAML 3.0.6). This package requires that TYPO3 is installed already, either locally on your PC or on a webserver in the internet.
  • Templates for TemplaVoilà (complete package, based on YAML 3.0.6 and contains an original version of TYPO3 4.2.2). This package requires a webserver, if you want to use it locally. See section below.

Download XAMPP

XAMPP is an easy to install Apache distribution containing MySQL, PHP and Perl. XAMPP is really very easy to install and to use - just download, extract and start. It is available for Linux and Windows.
